My name is Angela Brink

I am a young entrepreneur who enjoys life, loves to travel, I love doing business and I live in Spain. However, this stable situation has not always been there. To give you a little insight into my way within business, I'd like to take you along the path I've walked myself, since this wasn't always about roses either.
With this story I hope to inspire others and maybe give the last push to people who don't dare to start or don't know where to start.
First things first
I grew up in a village called: IJsselmuiden (Netherlands). This is the place where I was also born. My childhood looked quite noisy. When I was 6 years old my parents divorced and I often moved from location to location. I actually always lived a bit out of my suitcase and was always very searching for where I felt at home. I found that I liked to think outside the box and was a very open-minded person. At home and around my village it didn't always feel like I could express this, because a lot of people there think within the lines. In other words: Just act normal, then you're already acting crazy enough.
"Just act normal, then you're acting crazy enough."
Unfortunately, that was not quite my way of thinking, so I never felt completely at ease here. However, after high school I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. I really wanted to be an entrepreneur, but what exactly I wanted to do was not clear. At home, a normal job was also normalized and I didn't get any insight into starting my own business. I moved at a young age and started living on my own, as I was eager to handle my own path and noticed that the people around me were not encouraging and motivating me to do something 'different'.
Left home at 18
I left home knowing that this would hardly be financially viable for me, but I did it anyway. I knew that this way I would be able to develop myself quickly and that I would be less concerned about the outside world. With a few side jobs and hard work I just made ends meet. At the time I was also already trading stuff via social media in order to be able to be involved in business.
"no passion for this profession and no freedom at all."
At the age of 15 I chose to train as a hairdresser, but knew almost immediately that this was not for me. Partly thanks to listening 'too much' to the opinion of others, I chose this anyway. I graduated and for several years I worked full-time as a hairdresser in the salon. I worked long days from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 8:00 PM for about $1,500 a month. I had absolutely no passion for this profession and no freedom at all.
The turning point
The corona time was approaching and the salons were obliged to close their doors. I was 18 years old at the time. I was really done with my job and was looking for an 'other' way. I was still struggling to get by and thought to myself, 'there must be a better way'. I locked myself in and started reading books. Books about entrepreneurship, about how you could earn money online and started to delve into multiple and different revenue models.
First of all I wanted more financial peace and more freedom. I saw the lockdown as an opportunity. An opportunity for myself to create new possibilities. After all, I was out of my old situation and had time to be alone and develop myself.
"I came into contact with copywriting and dropshipping."
I found out that you could create passive income with various online revenue models and came into contact with copywriting and dropshipping. This is also what I started with. Thanks to a friend of mine I was able to get in touch with the online world and do some work for him. I saw these opportunities and went for them 100%. However, after a while I noticed that this was not the business model I wanted to grow into due to the low profit margins and blockages. However, this has given me a lot of insight and, however, more opportunities to grow within the market.
By now I had a taste of making money online and wanted more. I met someone who claimed to make money through YouTube Cash Cow channels. I asked them to dive into a call together for some more info and that's how the story actually started.

YouTube Cashcow

Of course I immediately started working on this, since I had found a proven model and example. I studied hard, while I was still working in the hair salon. I set up my first channel, but had little help and so my first 3 channels failed again and again... Mainly because I didn't want help and wanted to do it myself. This has caused me unnecessary costs and a lot of time and energy afterwards, but I am still glad that I did it this way. Because of this I learned quickly and I especially knew what not to do.
I did not give up and kept testing until I found the “success formula”. I remember very well how happy I was when my first channel was accepted into the YouTube partner program and I could start making money with it. I continued to build this channel and when this gave me enough I stopped as a hairdresser! A real relief to me...

In the following weeks I continued to build my business and started Cashcow Babes so that we can pass on these successes to others. Now I myself live in complete financial peace and travel from country to country. This is what I do it for! Money certainly does not bring happiness, but the freedom it brings does!
